From a time long past, this ketubah, "Dodi Li" by Micah Parker, evokes the romance of a more mystical time--of Romeo and Juliet, of chivalry and honor. This traditional ketubah in golden yellows and browns, as a whole is powerful, yet the detailing is soft and graceful. The ornately decorated artwork forms a frame around the rectangular ketubah text in the center. The piece also incorporates the popular wedding phrase from the Song of Songs, "I am my beloved?s, and my beloved is mine," in English along the bottom border and the Hebrew, "Ani l'dodi v'dodi li," across the top.
