This brightly colored, modern ketubah design, "Circle of Love I - Portrait" by Micah Parker, uses bold colors to convey a powerful image of an even more powerful emotion - love. The English word "love" circles clockwise in orange within the heart shape in the center of the piece. Circling counter-clockwise in red, you?ll find the Hebrew word for love, "ahavah." The red, yellow, and orange colors of the heart are warm which represent the passion found within, while the blue, green, and purple colors outside the heard are cool and grow darker the further they are removed. Directly below the design is the popular wedding phrase from the Song of Songs, "I am my beloved?s and my beloved is mine," while its counterpart in Hebrew, "Ani l'dodi v'dodi li" sits at the top. The ketubah text rests in the lower middle portion of the design.
